I LaikArt: the Art Camper

Five itinerant street lessons in the Florentine districts. After the success of the past editions, the camper “I LaikArt”, a traveling art history project promoted by the City of Florence and the UNESCO Office returns, conceived by Sergio Risaliti and curated by the Associazione Mus.e. After Michelangelo, the undisputed protagonist of the evening will this year be Leonardo da Vinci. The multifaceted genius who will be remembered next year for the five hundredth anniversary of his death in France in 1519.

Real evenings of proximity to the themes of art, to allow everyone to get passionate and fall in love with the culture. For five nights the camper will, in fact, stay in five different squares, where chairs and equipment will be set up to give life to art classes open to all citizens.

The initiative aims – thanks to popular and exciting meetings – to talk to everyone, trying to overcome the academic barriers thanks to the interventions of qualified speakers who have married and supported the initiative. The evenings will be led by Roberta Barsanti (Director of the Leonardo Museum in Vinci), Cristina Acidini (President of the Academy of Drawing), Carlo Francini (Head of the UNESCO Office of the City of Florence), Valentina Zucchi (Head of Mediation MUS.E) and the famous writer Enzo Fileno Carabba. An exceptional evening will be that of September 12, in which the meeting will be curated by Mayor Dario Nardella and Sergio Risaliti.

The initiative I LAIKART is conceived by Sergio Risaliti, promoted by the UNESCO Office of the City of Florence, organized by MUS.E with the conception of Sergio Risaliti and the curatorship of Valentina Zucchi.
